When Tomorrow Starts Without Me [by David Romano]
When tomorrow starts without me,
And I'm not there to see;
If the sun should rise and find your eyes
All filled with tears for me;
I know how much you love me,
As much as I love you,
And each time that you think of me,
I know you'll miss me too
So when tomorrow starts without me,
Don't think we're far apart,
For every time you think of me,
I'm right here, in your heart.
Alex's family, you are in my thoughts and prayers.

To my friend and sister in love Sharon, words are sometimes difficult to say when you have never lost a child. So I just want you to know that I love you and I am praying Gods comfort, 2 Corinthians 12:9 say Gods strength is made perfect in our weakness. My sister hold on to God for he will see you through. To Alex sons and brothers especially Russ be strong in the lord take of each other because I understand your pain but just know you have a angel watching over you.

My heartfelt sympathies to all the family members and dear friends, may God and all the fond memories of Alex bring peace and comfort to each and everyone. I was never blessed to have my own child or so I thought, but life works in mysterious ways and brought me many children and young adults who I now call stepchildren, sons and daughters. Alex was the latest of these as I was blessed and privileged to live with him for quite a few years and saw him not only from the outside looking in but also from the inside looking out. It is not just the big moments I will never forget but also the little memories like how I knew you were home from a long shift when I heard your boots banging on the patio floor as you shook off the mud, or the times you would hear the tv on upstairs in the wee hours of the morning and wanted to tell me something. You would walk up as silent as a ninja and just appear next to me accidentally scaring the heck out of me. The list goes on and on...... but what I cherish the most was the one on one talks we had as I would try to pry the lid open a little to see inside and you would gently push it back down and the few times I succeeded I was always amazed how much more depth there was to you more then I ever imagined. As time went on you grew more and more on me and became much more then a son in law to me. Rest in peace my little buddy.

I used to live nextdoor to Sharon & her sons Russ & Sean, we continued our friendship & I was her maid of honor when she married Alex's dad. Shortly after she was having a baby & I was there at the hospital the day he was born on Sharons 35th birthday! She was glowing & happy to have a healthy baby boy! All I know about Alex is that he was positive, caring, loyal & a great son, brother& Dad!The news of his passing is devastating.. May his soul rest in eternal peace..My sincere sympathy to the family of Alex. God Bless
