Joe and I fondly remember Ellie and Woody from Bethany. I still make her delicious Peach French Toast recipe! Our prayers go out to the Crawford family in the loss of their matriarch, yet rejoice that she is united with Woody once more and experiencing eternal life with our Lord and Savior.

I remember meeting Woody (Shorty) for the first time as a little girl at the Landrud Farm. I believe they had just gotten engaged. Woody was wearing a military uniform looking very dapper and Eleanore was all smiles. I can still picture it and feel the joy surrounding their love for each other as well as the love they had for family and friends.
Eleanore and Woody were always and example of the love of Christ in their lives. Their involvement in Calvary Church as well as Bethany's Center for Champions was a true testimony of loving your neighbor as yourself.

Your mom was always so welcoming and warm to me when I would see her at an event for Alice and charlie. She was a ray of sunshine and fun. My deepest sympathy

Ellie was a beautiful woman inside and out! She was quick witted and always had that beautiful smile. I most remember how she always gave her services w/anything needed at Bethany. Ellie you are surely missed! However I know you are with the Lord and in this we rejoice.

Ellie was a sweet, caring, loving Christian. Her heart was one of putting her faith into action. I remember having a summer Bible club in her backyard through Child Evangelism Fellowship. Her hospitality and warmth was the “glue” that made that neighborhood outreach a success. I’ll always remember her smile—it always beamed with Jesus’ love.

"Mrs C" was always a wonderful 2nd Mom to me. She never failed to take the time to listen to my stories in her kitchen (during my many un-announced visits) and never chased me out of her refrigerator. She was sweet, patient, and caring; and was a great influence as I was growing up. Woody finally has his girl back.

Prayers to the family. I knew Mrs Crawford only briefly, but enjoyed our conversations and looked forward to the next one. I was also impressed by her absolutely fabulous coconut cream pie! May she have eternal rest in the arms of the Lord and be united with her family gone before. A truly lovely woman!
