Dear Dottie: I will never forget all the great times we had together growing up and I will miss Jimmy forever. I still remember him opening the window in high school in Mrs. Cook's class while she waited at the door because I was late. My sincere condolences for your loss. Kevin

Jimmy (Iron as you were known in school)
Troy Tanis, Lee Kipp, Walt Steinert and myself did a toast to you last evening when we all got together at Troy's. The guys had so many funny stories about you wanting to fight them LOL. We laughed and laughed. Your passing was way too soon but I know you are with your son now. You will be missed. You were a dear friend of mine for close to 45 years. We sat next to one another for four years in high school and I looked forward to Mondays when I would hear all the crazy things you would do on the weekends. Remember riding my dirt bike with Alan Ulversoy and running out of gas. All the Greenpond "pit" parties. You have left me with many memories that will always make me smile. I love you dearly. Rest now.

I don’t know where to begin . All the great times we had hunting and fishing . Hanging out with with Mikey always stopping by to see what was going on with the family . Jimmy your sense of humor and your patience to teach is something I’ll always cherish. You always looked out for all of us . Never selfish your hand was always out to help . I will never forget how proud you are of Jenna the day she got that huge buck. I‘ll never be able to figure out though that brainy idea you had to get chickens. Especially that night in your kitchen . Unfortunately the trail ahead we won’t be able to walk together. We will meet again buddy . Big Al

What a beautiful service for an amazing man. I know Jimmy is looking down feeling so proud of his daughters for their strength and heartfelt words for him. Dotty was truly the love of his life and everyone who knew them together felt it. They taught generations in our family by showing a true example of what love really is. I have so many amazing memories of this great man that I cherish - especially when we all
lived together on Split Rock- laughing, being silly just having a great time as I tried to become a grown up. It was so great to be with my cousins. I remember when Jimmy was just starting out in the police academy and Dotty putting his name on his sweats... and years later look at the amazing career in service he had. He was someone to be truly proud of for his character, service to the community and the heart he put into everything he did. When I was young and got pulled over all I had to say was Iannielli and that was all that was needed. People respected him immensely everywhere- because he walked the walk and talked the talk. You will be missed Jimmy- everyone loved you so much. My prayers are with you Dotty, Jamie, Jenna and Family

It was an honor to know Jim Iannielli as a Police officer a true professional. He was one of the greatest guys on the planet. I know he lived full of enthusiasm for his family, for his friends, and for his fellow officers. Loved to fish and I loved to get his fresh Tuna. To me he was the guy you wanted to show up if one of your family members ever needed help. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him. May God bless James Richard Iannielli III and his family - May he rest in eternal peace .
