Obituary of Florence M. Paglinco

Florence M. Paglinco (Gianforcaro) passed away at the Oaks in Denville on June 20, 2020, at the age of 93.

Born in Archibald, PA she married her husband Anthony F. Paglinco in 1954 and moved to Orange, NJ. They moved to Morris Plains in 1978 and lived there for over 30 years before moving to the Oaks in Denville 5 years ago.

Florence attended Marywood University and graduated with a degree in nursing in 1948 and worked as a registered nurse for 40+ years, with the majority of her career at St. Mary’s Hospital in Orange, NJ.  She had a passion for nursing and taking care of people.  She also enjoyed baking. Her specialty was being Italian cookies that her family loved. Other hobbies included puzzling, quilting, and knitting, but most of all she loved to spend time with her grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband Anthony F. Paglinco earlier this year in January. They were married for 65 years.

Florence is survived by her loving son Guy and his wife Patricia Paglinco, her cherished grandchildren Dr. Samantha Paglinco, Anthony Paglinco and Thomas Paglinco.  She is also survived by her siblings Carmel Giannelli, George Gianforcaro, Angelo Gianforcaro and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday June 25, 2020, from 4:00PM – 7:00PM at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave Denville, NJ 07834 www.normandean.com.

A Liturgy of Christian Mass will be held at 10AM on Friday June 26, at St. Mary’s Church in Denville, NJ.  Entombment services will follow at Gate of Heaven Mausoleum in East Hanover, NJ.
