Obituary of Rev. Susan C. Nigra
With heavy hearts we anounce the passing of Rev. Susan C. Nigra.
Susan will be remembered for her ever-constant kindness, expertise with computers and brilliant mind. She flourished in her later years as a psychic medium, teacher and student of all things spiritual. She never stopped learning and growing and sharing that gift with so many. She was a member and teacher at the Institute for Spiritual Development in Sparta, NJ, She has written four books which you can find on Amazon. The titles vary from Reiki to Beginning Mediumship. As a sibling I can testify that she was always ten steps ahead of everyone else, but with humility.
Incredibly she still found time for fun and hobbies, always busy. She has made some incredible jewelry, knitted beautiful afghans (the kind your grandmother made) Or you could find her at cousin Patty’s barbeque laughing and playing with the children.
She loved all life and lived it well. She even accepted adversity as part of the soul’s learning process, even her final disease in which she suffered greatly.
If suffering is the Way to be with God through Jesus’s suffering Susan has a first class ticket to Heaven.
During her final days her house was brimming over with friends and family. The fact that there were so many is a testament to her life.
Susan was well loved by many, especially her brother,Robert and sister, Linda, her nephews Dan Nigra of Rockaway and Bob Nigra of New Hampshire; her two beautiful nieces Hayleigh and Samantha that she spoiled and spent much time with and all the many cousins and friends.
The corona virus crisis is preventing us from having a full service and get-together.
But I hope to do those things when the world is back on it’s feet. Her spirit will always be with us and we will meet again.
I will leave you with her favorite saying, one that she always had on the bottom of emails:
‘It is better to be kind than to be right’.
