Obituary of Delores Dunlap Roth

Delores “Dee” Dunlap Roth passed away suddenly on Monday, February 17, 2020 at Chilton Medical Center in Pompton Plains. She had shared 72 years of love and laughter with friends and family.

Born on August 13, 1947 in Morristown to the late James and Ruth Dunlap, she was one of five children to bless the Dunlap household. Dee grew up in Denville and graduated from Morris Hills High School. After getting married, she settled down in Bryam/Andover Township to raise her children. She was a kind and compassionate woman; she loved animals and found great joy in feeding the deer outside. Although we are saddened by her passing, we take comfort in knowing she is now reunited with her beloved parents.

She leaves behind her son, Harold and his wife Muriel and daughter, Kristine and her husband Owen; her cherished grandchildren, Samantha, R.J., Charlotte, and Spencer; her siblings, Jean Taylor, Diane Dunlap, David Dunlap, and Jim Dunlap; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
