Obituary of Joan G. Forster

Joan G. Forster (Godley) passed away peacefully at Morristown Medical Center in Morristown, NJ after battling a long illness, on January 29, 2020. She was 64 years old.

Born and raised in East Orange, NJ she had lived in New Hampshire, Flanders and Madison NJ. Joan attended Katherine Gibbs School, and went to work as a Sales Associate, working for Citi Corp and Wells Fargo in Florham Park NJ.

Joan possessed a strong spirit, a fiery sense of humor, and a quick wit. She treasured her family and friends, was very generous, and loved giving gifts. Joan had a passion for travel and shopping, as well watching old Turner Classic movies and old Hollywood stars.

Joan will be dearly missed and survived by her sisters, Amy Preziosi (and her husband Gene) of Southport, NC her sister Janis Forster (and her husband Edward) of Antrim NH. Her nephews Dominic, Jonathan, Damian and Christian Preziosi. Edward and Ben Forster, her nieces Lisa Teed, Janis Goguen and Alison Barney. As well as her dear friend Leigh Bollinger and Family. Joan was preceded by in death by her sister Marion Andrews and nephew Michael Andrews.
