Chris -
I still think about you often. While we lost touch after college, we had recently gotten back in touch and shared some back and forth notes, catching up in 2012. I wish we had kept in better touch. It sounds like you did a lot of incredible things and had amazing experiences in your time here. It's sad to know that you're not around to call or meet up with, to grab a drink, bite, or play some hoops like the good ol' days. Miss you bud. I have full faith that you're in a better place making people smile.

Dear Alyssa and Paul,
When I think of Chris, I see Alyssa's face light up. I remember Alyssa telling me about his high school golf team, then all of his accolades in schools, then the acceptance into pretegious colleges and last mature to be a wonderful giving young man. He will always be looking down at us. I pray for your strength today and always.

We worked together for GTRI in Ukraine where he lead a team and all my colleagues in Ukraine remember Kris as one of the best team leaders and very positive young man. He did a lot for my country and US-Ukraine cooperation and friendship. God bless his parents and gives them power to overcome this sad time.

Paul and Mrs. Demos,
Your family has been in my thoughts for so long as well as nightly prayers. I am so incredibly saddened to hear that your son Chris lost the fight. I know there are no words that will even make a dent in the heartache. And sadness you wonderful parents are experiencing. I do hope that all the WONDERFUL memories and the amount of LOVE he brought to your lives can fill your hearts and help you get through this very sad time. I didn't know him personally but working with Paul for so many years and sharing our stories of our children I did get to know he was a blessing and the lights of your lives. Chris, you were a great friend who had that special ability to cheer people up with that infectious smile and that special and sincere way in which you cared about all of the people in your life - it's that charisma that naturally drew people to you. Your love and vigor for life, (golf, surfing, sports, those Yankees,etc) inspired so many others as well. It was an honor and a privilege to have known you for four years as a neighbor and as a good friend. I will miss you dearly and I will never forgot you, my friend. No more need for me to pray for you, because I know in my heart that you are in hands of our Creator and God bless and grant peace to your family and at this difficult time.
