Obituary of Virginia Marie “Ginny” Struble

Virginia M. Ginny Struble, 75, of Rockaway Boro, NJ, died on Thursday October 17, 2002 at St. Clares Hosp. in Denville, NJ.
She was born in Dover, NJ, and raised in the Hibernia Section of Rockaway, NJ. She later moved to Rockaway Boro in 1948.
Ginny worked for Reaction Motors in Denville, NJ, and Picatinny Arsenal in Rockaway Twp., NJ. Later she worked as a Customer Service Representative for the Matthews Insurance Company, and Later for the Ben H. Lee Insurance Co. of Dover, NJ retiring in 1964.
She was very active in the Methodist Church, first with the Rockaway United Methodist Church where she had served in many capacities, She was a Trustee, as well as a Secretary of the Trustees,she had been the Memorial Fund Chairperson, A member of the United Methodist Womens group, where she had served as a president, and Treasure. She had served as the Superintendent of the Churchs Sunday school, and she sang in the Choir. She later joined the Denville Community United Methodist Church, where she had served as the Memorial Fund Chairperson, She was a member as well as President and Treasure of the United Methodist Womens group. She was a member of the Priscilla Circle and the Priscilla Quitters, and she sang in the Choir.
She had also been a member of the Rockaway Boro Historical Society, and the Rockaway Boro Super Seniors.
She is survived by her husband Robert W. with whom she was married to for 54 years.
She is also survived by Her Son and His wife Robert L. and Kathy Szekula Struble of Keene, NH. Three Grandchildren Michael Jakway, Johnathan Jakway, and Jason Taylor. Four Great Grandchildren Corey Jakway, Joseph Jakway, Caitlin Mae Jakway, and Wesson Taylor. Two Sisters Lena Thomas of Lexington, N. C., Grace Dante of Kenvil, NJ, and a Brother Calvin Brown of De Land, Fla.
Family and friends are invited to attend Funeral Service at the Denville Community United Methodist Church 155 Diamond Spring Road in Denville, NJ on Sunday October 20, 2002 at 2:30 PM. Donations are being accepted to the Churchs Memorial Fund P.O. Box 115 Denville, N. J. 07834
