We only met a few times, I am the younger brother of Bill Dettloff. You both went to Hackensack High School before we moved to south Jersey.

Dear Bill & Jane:
So sorry to read of your mom's passing. You're fortunate to have had here to reach 92.
It it strange how many times I think of the Johnson Ave. neighborhood. I even remember stopping at the beauty shop on main street after school go out. (state street).I still see Joanne Velardi, Karen LaBosco, Darrell Harris,
of course Eddie Schrader-my x brother-in-law, and many others. It's hard to believe we are going be out of Hack High 40 years this year.
I am home recovering from knee surgey so I saw it in the newspaper and thought I would drop you a note.
Have a good trip back to CA.

To my dearest friend Jane - My prayers are with you and your family during this very difficult time. Your Mom always made the best Sunday dinner and always welcomed me like a daughter. She will be welcomed into a beautiful Kingdom for eternity.
