Mrs. Albano, Ruth, I will always remember the first time I met you. I was with Dan at one of the yard sales at the Denville Senior Center in the early 1990s. I think Dan turned and you turned and you saw each other and greeted each other with a little humor (each not knowing the other would be there that day). I thought you were such a nice lady right away, and soon after Dan said something like, "Oh, Jeff, this is Charlene's mom!" Oh, of course, she was. How wonderful to have met Charlene's mother.
Ruth, I also had the great pleasure of sitting right across from you and talking with you at the rehearsal dinner for Charlene and Dan's wedding. What a special night.
In the Bible, when it says we are made in the image and likeness of God, one of the original meanings of this was each person's role and calling as a caretaker of creation, of the Garden of Eden itself, just as the Lord is the one eternal caregiver and caretaker over all.
It is a joy to me to know how Ruth expressed herself as an image of God in her love of family and animals!
My love and prayers for you, Ruth, and for Armando, Charlene and Dan, C.J., Jackie and Steve, John, Kim, Donna, Michele, and the whole House of Ruth....

Grandma I don't remember much about you since I was just a little tot the last time we met, but I can say you were always in my thoughts. It's sad that your gone now and we never had the the chance to know each other, I'm sure we would have got along real well and had lots to talk about knowing we both are in love with animals :) my sisters and I must have got that from you. Love you and can't wait to meet you again some day.

RUTH (MOM) IS MY MOTHER IN LAW. SHE WAS SUCH A SWEET PERSON AND TREATED EVERYONE WITH LOVE AND CARING. I ALWAYS ENJOYED HER COMPANY. SHE HAD A VERY SPECIAL BOND WITH MY WIFE CHARLENE THAT WAS REALLY SOEMTHING TO BEHOLD. SHE IS NOW IN THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN WITH ANGELS.
