To Bob, Mary, Dave, and Joe:
I'm so sorry for your loss. After years of driving through Indian Lake any time I was in Denville looking around the old neighborhood, I finally got to see Al last November out raking the leaves, and I stopped and we talked for a good bit. It was the same good ol' Al I always remembered from when we were kids, 25-some-odd years later. That was a highlight of 2007 for me, and I've been thinking a lot since of all the great times we had down at your house growing up, and all the good memories of your family that I still think about on a regular basis. I feel very fortunate to have been able to know your dad and all of you. God bless and take care, Dave

Dear Joe, Mary, Bob, and David, I am so sorry for the passing of your father. I may have only known him for a short time, but enjoyed every time our families were together. I will always remeber when Al and I joined our family's and made them one at Joe's and Michelle's wedding.

Al will be deeply missed. His quiet way, gentle smile and quiet involment was much admired by those who knew him. I worked with Al with the K of C, PRIDE, The County Committee and with him with the Socut Troop. Many great times camping and talking over the campfire.
