Amelia W. Schweizer, 96, on Monday Feb. 25, 2008 at Merry Heart Nursing Home, Boonton Twp, NJ.
Mrs. Schweizer was born in New York City, NY, was a resident of Huntington Station Long Island, NY, and in Denville and Montville and currently in Boonton Twp. Mrs. Schweizer was a homemaker. Mrs. Schweizer took up painting at the age of 80.
Her husband Eberhart F. Schweizer and her grandson Paul Schaeffer predeceased her.
Her daughter, Mildred Schaeffer and her husband Robert of Kinnelon, her sons Walter Schweizer and his wife Ann of Ronkonkoma, NY, Thomas Lew and his wife Tammie of Michigan, her grandchildren, Mark Schaeffer, Heidi Linsalata, Faith Patino. Walter Schweizer, and Ann Marie Schweizer, her great grandchildren, Benjamin and Victoria Schaeffer, and Jake and Amy Linsalata, her sister Mitilda Alberts of Huntington Station, NY survive her.
Her funeral will be conducted at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave., Denville, NJ www.normandean.com. (please light a candle in Memory of Amelia on web site), on Thursday Deb. 28th at 10:00am for an 11:00am Liturgy of Christian Burial service at St. Francis Chapel, Denville, NJ. Interment services at Flushing Cemetery, Flushing, NY. Relatives and friends will be received on Wednesday Feb. 27th from 2-4 and 7-9pm. In lieu of flowers donations to St. Francis Chapel, Denville, NJ would be appreciated.
