Frank J. Auth "Hank", 85, died on Thursday Feb. 21, 2008 at the Franciscan Oaks Health Care Center, Denville, NJ.
Mr. Auth was born in Newark, NJ was a resident of East Hanover and Toms River and the last 2 1/2 years in Denville, NJ. He was a United States Navy World War II Veteran. Mr. Auth retired as a Steamfitter from Local 475, Warren, NJ and the Newark Housing and Board of Education in 1989. Mr. Auth was a lecturer and member of St. St. Leo's Church Irvington, St. Rose of Lima Church East Hanover, St. Luke's Church Dover Township, and presently St. Mary's Church Denville. He was a member of the VFW 8885, he enjoyed playing Chess, Table Tennis and Golf.
His wife Ann R. Auth of Denville, his children, Debbie Butler and her husband Dennis of Flanders, Stephen Auth and his wife Evelyn of Chatham, Cathy Auth of Belmont, MA, and Joan Tomczyk and her husband Jim of West Caldwell, his four grandchildren Richard, Michael, Brendan, Mackensia, his sister Rita Wade of Boca Raton, FL, and many nieces and nephews survive him.
His funeral will be conducted from Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave., Denville, NJ www.normandean.com, (please light a candle in memory of Hank on web site), on Monday Feb. 25th at 9:00am for a 10:00am Liturgy of Christian Burial Service at St. Marys Church, Denville, NJ. Interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover, NJ. Relatives and friends will be received on Sunday Feb. 24th from 2-6PM.
