Obituary of Edmond J. Hatem

Edmond J. Hatem, 53, died at his apartment in Butler, NJ.
He was born in Paterson, NJ and had lived in the Green Pond section of Rockaway before moving to Denville in 1978. He later lived in Morristown and Randolph before moving back to Denville in 1992.
He had graduated from Belknap College in Meredith, NH in 1973 with a BA in Fine Arts.
He had owned and operated J E M Productions in Denville until 2000 when he went to work with his father in Hatem Modular Homes in Butler, NJ.
He had been a member of the Morristown Jaycees as well as a member of the Morris County Crime Stoppers. He had been a coach in the Denville Hub Soccer League.
He had a passion for music and was a professional guitar and drum player and had played in several bands in the Morris area.
He is survived by his daughter Megan E. and his son James P. as well as his friend Patricia E. Hatem all of Denville. He is also survived by his father and stepmother Edmond S. and Margaret Hatem of Butler, and his sister Jeanne Hatem of Flanders, two nieces Nancy Cheslock of Talkeetna, Alaska, and Christine Visneau of Dallas, Tx., and a great niece Miette Visneau of Dallas, Tx.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday Aug. 7, 2005 at 4:00 PM at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church 508 Green Pond Rd. Rockaway Twp., NJ. Friends may visit with the family at the church from 1:00 PM until time of service. Donations are being accepted to the family for the childrens education.
