Robert E. Chez Chezem, 60, died on Saturday Dec. 13, 2003 at Saint Clares Hospital, Denville, NJ.
Mr. Chezem was born in Chicago, IL; he lived in Valparaiso, IN and moved to the Rainbow Lakes section of Parsippany, NJ.
Mr. Chezem graduated from the Tennessee Miltary Institute at Sweetwater, TN; he was an honor graduate from Valparaiso University, Valparaiso, IN with a BA, majoring in political science and minoring in geography.
Mr. Chezem was a Certified Internal Auditor, a certified Tax Professional, a member of the National Society of Public Accountants, and Notary Public. He was member of the American Rose Society. He was a life member of the Rainbow Lakes Volunteer Fire Company where he served as President and Commissioner. He was also the long-standing treasurer of the Fire Company and current treasurer of the Board of Fire Commissioners. Mr. Chezem was a member of King of Kings Lutheran Church in Mountain Lakes. He was a current member and past President of the Rainbow Lakes Community Club. He is current President of the MG Car Club Central Jersey Centre. He was a member of the MGs of Baltimore, the Long Island MG Car Club, the Brits of the Hudson, and the North American MGB Register. Mr. Chezem was a member of SigmaTau Gamma Fraternity, Beta Lamba Chapter having served as President and Treasurer.
His wife Helen, loving children Stacey, David and his wife Amy, and Kimberley survive Mr. Chezem. His sister also survives him Nancy Chezem.
