Obituary of Glenn John Whitehouse

Glenn J. Whitehouse, 77, died on Friday January 11, 2008 at St. Clares Hospital in Dover, NJ.
Glenn was born in Orange, NJ, and grew up in Rochelle Park, Hasbrouck Heights, and Teaneck, graduating from Teaneck High School. He moved to Parsippany, NJ in 1956 until moving to Rockaway in 1976, and then to New Hope and finally to Hopatcong one year ago.
He served in the US Air Force during the Korean War.
He worked in his familys business first at the Maple Crest Beach Club in Hackensack, NJ from 1942 until 1955 and later at Pigeon Hill Swim Club in Parsippany from 1956 until 1976, when the club closed.
He then started a house cleaning service, Wakie Home Services of Rockaway with his partner Jim Klugh, until they retired to New Hope Pa., in 2002.
His Partner James Klugh predeceased him in October 2003.
His two cats, Ashaby and Beautee, as well as many friends survive him.
