Eileen, Jason & Family --
So sorry I was away in California when Eileen passed. Please accept my sincere condolences. Eileen gave it the good fight & now, she is pain free & at rest (although we would rather have her that way in our midst). It was always nice to see her & chat a bit when I walked Dahlia. I have missed that.
Please let me know if there's anything I can to do to help you, it would be my honor to do so.

Each time one of us passes the house, we expect to see Eileen with or without one of the dogs. How sad to think that we have lost such an individual and will never again see her smile or hear her laugh. She was a warm, caring, loving lady with great courage. The neighborhood will not be the same without her.
Our deepest sympathy for Tami and Jason and all the family.

Jay & Mell . . . . . I am so sorry . . . those words seem so empty right now and even though I realize they aren't enough I can't begin to say them enough. I am so sorry. Your Mother was so wonderful. Even though I hadn't seen her for years when I saw her last she was still the warm, laughing (and teasing me) woman she always was. Despite everything that you had said she was going through I really couldn't see any difference other than a new hair style forced upon her. I am so sorry. With all my love and deepest sympathy --Melissa

Eileen's straight-forward and no-nonsense approach to life was always evident in every aspect of her being...even throughout her many painful and exhausting battles with Cancer. Strength, Courage and Resolve were ever-present in her independent and energetic spirit. I'm so thankful to have known this wonderful Lady...it was truly a privilege. I'll miss her tremendously; but, will cherish the memories of her friendship.

I worked with Eileen at AT&T in years past. What describes Eileen best was her sense of humor and her very unique way of doing it right the first time and not settling for second best. She was always helpful and generous.

Tammy, Jason (Jay) and family: I really loved Eileen. She was always such a positive person and was a wonderful friend. I will truly miss her. We had such great times at AT&T and I know how much she loved you, her grandchildrend and her dogs/cats. When I went through a tough time in April, thinking I might have ovarian cancer, she was one of the people who really helped me through it. She was so positive and provide all the information I needed. Rosemary and I would always meet her for lunch at Boogey's in Parsippany and have our Steak Salads and talk about our lives and what was going on. Rosemary and I have decided to continue to meet their for lunch in memory of Eileen, but it will never be the same. We lost one of our "best friends" we've met at AT&T. God Bless and my prayers will be with you always.

A beautiful woman. Capable, open, moral, honest, and forthright. I worked with Eileen for several years at AT&T and sat next to her for a few of them.
About her honesty... we were close work friends, once she was filling in for the manager and I was late coming back from lunch; she ratted me out and I respected her for that.
I have many fond memeories of her, she was always quick to laugh and had such an expressive countenance. She was so proud of her kids and wanted the best for them, she asked me many years ago (12?) if anything happend to her if I would avail myself to for Tami; and I promised her I would. So Tami, I know there are many women in your life, and no one will ever replace your mom but I hold true to the word I gave your mother- last century and if you ever want an ear, or a light of guidance through the glorious, treacherous, beautiful, bountiful jungle of woman hood- my hand is eternally extended for you to grasp. You will be always in my thoughts.

I am so grateful to have made memories with Eileen as our children were growing up. So many fun times can I see as I sit and remember. Our plane ride with to Florida, dragging strollers, diaper bags and the works! Laughing to tears on the plane as Jay's lollipop got stuck in Tami's hair on the take-off. Oh too remember is a joy. So many parties with Eileen being such a gracious hostess - especially New Year's Day with both families - more great times. And then the two of us running around to yard sales, auctions, flea markets . . . I still have so much of the clutter we collected! She always made for an adventure! I am blessed for having been part of her life and so thankful for the chance to reconnect. Thanks be to God, who now has the joy of her laughter and love.

Jason, Tami and all those who shared a life with Eileen, I’m so sorry for your loss. I worked with Eileen at at&t sitting in neighboring cubes. When I first started in the group, she included me and made me feel welcome. As years went on she got me to stop complaining, not an easy feat, and I really looked forward to seeing her when it was just us in Morristown. We would share chocolate, and laughs. She introduced me to Mallomars, now my favorite cookie. I would hear her speaking with her grandchildren on the phone, it was so sweet. When she spoke of her children and grandchildren they were so important to her as well as her dogs. I don’t know who she loved more, or who loved her more . Goodbye Eileen, I’m so sorry you had to go.

Mommy, I will miss you every moment of my life. I'm sorry you had to suffer for so long. In honor of your life, I will remember to always have fun. Thank you for all of your love. You were the greatest Mom ever. And you will forever be remembered as the greatest Mom. Your love for your grandchildren and your children will forever be remembered. Your love for animals taught so many of us to be responsible animals owners. You left us to early. I'm blessed to have had you at our home and to help you through these rough days. I will cherish the times we held hands. I will cherish our annoying laughter to those who just didn't understand us. I will cherish all the great things you taught me and for all the times you just said, "Tami Lynn"! I love you mom and forever you will be my mommy. Thanks for giving me life. You watched as I took my first breath, and I watched as you took your last. I'm so sorry. I'll miss you terribly. Oh, Ma

Do not stand at my grave and weep,
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am in a thousand winds that blow,
I am the softly falling snow.
I am the gentle showers of rain,
I am the fields of ripening grain.
I am in the morning hush,
I am in the graceful rush
Of beautiful birds in circling flight,
I am the starshine of the night.
I am in the flowers that bloom,
I am in a quiet room.
I am in the birds that sing,
I am in each lovely thing.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there. I do not die.

We will miss Eileen very much. She was a great friend, grandmother and Baker. We will miss the goodies she always brought to holidays and get togethers. She always got a kick out of Bob and his stories. I will miss seeing the laughter in her face when Bob told one of his tales.
She taught me so much about how to be a responsible dog owner and shared with me tips on training and caring for them. She was an admirable lady.

We will and already do miss you so very much. Although living right next door to you for the past few years wasn't ALWAYS easy, I am so happy we did and we got to share so much time together. Melanie and I will miss so much, especially all the times we cooked dinners for each other. We'l even miss hearing you scream at Petey when he wouldn't listen to you! :) We will do all we can to make you proud, I promise!

Dear Tami and Family - I have nothing but the fondest of memories of your mom. She was the nicest woman. I'll never forget when she came over my house in desperate need of an old shirt for one of her dogs that had a skin condition. She asked Christian and he gladly handed over his favorite t-shirt that didn't fit him anymore. She made him feel like he saved the dog's life. Thank you Eileen!! We love you and will miss you.
