Owner of if the shoes fits… Silvio passed away on December 8th after a battle with cancer. He was 71 years old. Silvio’s family moved to Denville, NJ when he was 16years of age. He was a graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University acquiring a degree in Industrial Engineering. He served in the US Air Force for 4 years, being stationed in Labrador Canada and Germany. He was employed by IBM in various capacities for 25 years. Silvio began his small retail business in the fall of 1987. Learning as much as he could about properly fitting shoes, he was schooled in Pedorthics (professional shoe fitting). His engineering background helped him better understand the mechanics of the foot and he was knowledgeable in the relationship of the foot to the shoe. He was quite skilled at his craft. He was a loving husband, father, brother and friend, but mostly desired to be known for his love of God’s Word and regularly shared with others the hope held out to all of us in the Scriptures. Silvio is survived by his wife, Helen; his son Alexander; his sister, Dolores Mack; his brother, Richard; his mother-in-law Helen Rubino; nephews and nieces and many cousins.
