Linda,
You've been there since I was 10; 17 years like a step-mother. Thank you for taking care of and loving my father. I will always remember the way you pulled snacks out of nowhere no matter where we were (and were always so thin!) I will keep you in my heart with fond memories. Rest in peace and be forever young, healthy, and loved. I'll miss you.

I sat near Linda at work and she was a very nice lady. Once I helped her remove a large branch from her car in the parking lot at work. We had parked near the trees and the branch landed right on her car. She was very appreciative since the thing was big and bulky. My thoughts are with you and your family.

Although it has been a few years since I have seen her, my Aunt Linda holds a special place in my heart. I have many fun memories of her while I was growing up. Her special laugh filled up the room. My dad, Barry would always say..that's my little sister!!!. The last time I saw my aunt was at my son's baptism and still remember her words when she said how proud she was and how proud my dad would be of my son!!.. My heart goes out to Dave & Denise - may your moms memories (and laugh) keep you strong!! She is a great Aunt & I wish I spent more time with her!! All of my love. Karen (Shunk)McConnell

Wednesday, December 26, 2007
Linda and I became instant friends about 25 years ago in Denville. We complemented each other with a great sense of humor. She traveled to Florida with my daughter, Karin, and me when I moved there in 1986. We kept up our friendship via many phone calls. We always got together when I visited my son, Christopher, in Sparta. We had lunch over Memorial Day weekend this year at her favorite restaurant, Chun Bo's. Neither of us knew that was the last time we'd see each other. Linda truly was a good friend and there is a hole in my life with her gone. Linda is now "safely home" but will always be in my heart.

Dearest Denise & Davey, As I sit in my office, following the joy of Christmas,I find tears in my eyes and an ache in my heart as I fondly remember your dear mother, Linda. There is not enough space available to share all the wit and wisdom and love she shared with me over a period of some 47 years. Yes, I have known your mother for close to 50 years (for details ask your Aunt Susan Duncan or your Uncle Bob Schunk). My thoughts and prayers are with you now and will remain with you as you face the difficult days ahead. Aunt Kathy and I will be in Louisville, KY (with Wendy, Kevin, Tyler & Jacob)on Friday, but will take time out of our day to remember Linda and continue our prayers for you. May God bless you, comfort you, and keep you now and always.
Love, Aunt Kathy & Uncle Kevin <><
