Richard F. Kellenberger, died Friday November 30, 2007 at his home in Denville, surrounded by his family. He was 77. Born in Union City, NJ, he lived in Secaucus NJ for over forty years until moving to Denville thirteen years ago. He served in the Air Force during the Korean War. Richard was an Air Traffic Controller employed by the Federal Government, retiring as the Chief Air Traffic Controller of the Teterboro Airport after thirty-seven years of service. He was active with the youth group of St. Catherine of Sienna Church; he was also a volunteer with hospice for many years and was on the Board of Education for Secaucus School District. His first wife Eileen and his brother Arnold predeceased Richard. Surviving is his wife Joan (nee Clark), his two daughters Patricia and her husband Charles Caruso of Secaucus and Susan Kellenberger of Secaucus. Also surviving are his Step-Children John and his wife Mary Jean MacDonald, James and his wife Leslie MacDonald, Kevin MacDonald, Robert and his wife Tracy MacDonald, Glenn and his wife Janna MacDonald, Mary and Peter Catalano, and Colleen and James Trainor. Beloved brother of Dolores McAdam and Joseph, Robert, and Catherine Kellenberger. Richard was a grandfather of twenty-two. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday December 3, at 11:00am at St. Catherine of Sienna Church, 10 Pocono Road, Mountain Lakes. Visitation will be held on Sunday December 2, from 2-4 and 7-9pm at the Norman Dean Home For Services 16 Righter Avenue, Denville NJ 07834.
