My family and I are very lucky to have had Joyce in our lives. She always had a way to make me smile. She was so great to my son Derek always making sure that he had a hotdog and a stick to roast it over the fire, even when it was too cold to do it! She was an insperation in how hard she worked. I loved when she shared stories about her great kids and her animals. We will all miss her and are better people for knowing her. Thank You Joyce!

My sweet girl. I had a really bad day today. Not that I haven't had many since you left us. You're everywhere. You're home, at work, in my head and always my heart. I miss you so much I have to remind myself to breathe. Home, work, nothing is the same. Everyone keeps saying it'll get easier but I'm not sure when that will happen. We had something so special. More than most mothers and daughters ever have. Something to be envious about. No one can even BEGIN to understand how much Jeff & I are hurting. The sorrow and loss I feel...there are no words for it. I miss you so much. If anyone knows how I feel it's you. I talked to you the whole ride home from work today. Hope you were listening. God has taken yet another piece of my heart and Joyce holds it. Jeff,Jenny, Mark and James, you know I love you all and I'll always be here for you. Soemtimes you share a bond with someone, that all you have to say is one word and you both know the whole story behind it.

Joyce was my 'telephone buddy', and we shared a lot of laughs. I will miss her phone calls, and laughing together. I remember when she 1st came to Egbert, I gave her a hard time cause she was a female in an all male business. I soon learned she was more than capable and learned quickly and became more and more respected in the trade. I will miss her a lot. God bless her.

There are so many wonderful memories I have of my friendship with Joyce that it's hard to find just one. Her dark green mustang (fun times), parties, dances and above all - laughter and good times quickly come to mind. We'd go back to her house after a party and watch the fishes in the huge fish tank her Dad had. Her sister Carole's two sons Dennis and Craig went to Mrs. Bowen's Nursery school (my mom). I will always hold a special place in my heart for Joyce and I pray that she is happy in heaven with all her loved ones that have gone before her.

8th grade. When we were in high school, she drove us all around in her green mustang. We had lots of fun at her house sitting
in her kitchen talking and laughing. One time the two of us ate an entire chocolate cake at my house. I am so sad to hear of her death.
