Obituary of Andrew Stevenson

Andrew Andy Stevenson, 79, died on Thursday June 21, 2007 at Saint Clares Hospital, Dover, NJ.
Mr. Stevenson was born in Kearny, NJ and for the last 41 years a resident of the Rainbow Lakes section of Parsippany, NJ. Andrew was employed for United Parcel Service of Secaucus and Parsippany for 25 years as a Maintenance Mechanic. Andrew served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was a longtime member of the Lakeland Hills YMCA and the Chrysanthemum Society, an avid gardener, and bowler and a member of the Rainbow Lakes Community; he thoroughly enjoyed all the great times with his grandchildren.
His wife Louisa Anne in 1983 predeceased Andrew.
His children and their spouses, Lou Anne and her husband Gary Root of Oak Ridge, Paul and his wife Jen Stevenson of Newton, Laura Jane and her husband Jim Grant of Oak Ridge, four grandchildren Michael Root, Bryna Stevenson, Andrew and Jacqueline Grant and his brother Ernest and his wife Doris Stevenson of Toms River survive Andrew.
The funeral service will be conducted from the Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Avenue, Denville, NJ www.normandean.com, (light a candle on web site in memory of Andy), on Monday June 25th at 11:00am, interment services at Denville Cemetery. Relatives and friends will be received on Sunday June 24th from 2-4 and 7-9pm. In lieu of flowers donations to American Cancer Society 669 Littleton Road, Parsippany, NJ 07854.
