Ellen L. Tasker (Gordon) passed away in Newton, NJ on November 14, 2012
She was 80 years.
Born in Brooklyn, NY she had lived in Denville for 25 years before moving to Newton, NJ for the last 20 years.
Ellen worked as an administrative assistant at Chubb Institute in Parsippany, NJ for 5 years before retiring in 1985.
Ellen was a long time parishioner at The Good Shepherd Church of Andover, NJ.
She was predeceased by her first husband John W. Gordon in 1984.
Ellen is survived by her husband William Tasker of Newton and her children Deborah (& Jose) Palma of Jefferson Twp., Stephen (& Linda) Gordon of Byram, Joan (& Donald) Thompson of Dingman's Ferry, and Kelly Ann (& Thomas) Cryan of Mt. Arlington, NJ. She is also survived by her 10 Grandchildren, Shannon Robbins, Joseph Palma, Michael Palma, Richard Thompson, Christopher Thompson, Daniel Thompson, Ashley Cryan, Melissa Cryan, Shawn Cryan, and Ellen Cryan. She also has 4 Great Grandchildren, Ava Robbins, Addison Robbins, Ryan Robbins and Angel Evora.
Funeral services will begin at 10AM on Saturday November 17, 2012 at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave Denville, NJ 07834 and then going to St. Mary's Church in Denville for an 11AM Liturgy of Christian Burial Mass. Interment will follow at Holy Rood Cemetery in Morristown, NJ. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9PM.
