Thelma Hartmann, 97, died on Saturday March 31, 2007 at the Compassionate Care Hospice at Saint Clares Hospital, Dover, NJ.
Mrs.Hartmann was born in Paterson, NJ and was a resident of Hawthorne and Fair Lawn before moving to Rockaway Township 19 years ago. Mrs. Hartmann held clerical positions at New Era Company in the Paterson Hawthorne area and the Oxford University Press in Fair Lawn, NJ before retiring 40 years ago. Mrs. Hartmann was a member of the Northern Senior Citizen Cub of Rockaway Township.
Her husband Joseph Hartmann in 1989 predeceased her. Her loving daughter Marilyn Serra of Rockaway Township, her two granddaughters Diane Rizzo-Baumann and her husband Robert, Tara Rizzo-Manser and her husband Tim, and her brother Albert Marston of Min Hill, NC survive her.
Funeral services at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Avenue Denville, NJ www.normandean.com (light a candle in her memory) on Wednesday April 4th at 11am. Interment services at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus, NJ. Relatives and friends will be received on Tuesday April 3rd from 2-4 & 7-9pm.
