Poppop,
Thanks for everything and teaching me to live life to its fullest. I'll always remember the important lessons you taught me, including what happens after I pulled your finger. I look forward to more drawing lessons, blackjack, and dancing in heaven with you. I LOVE YOU!!!!

Dad,
It's been a week since you've gone, and not a moment goes by that I don't think of you. I look around, and the world looks like a different place- something seems to be missing everywhere I look. I have told so many people about you and how wonderful you were. Dad, you were my father, my best friend, and my hero. I will forever be incredibly proud to say that I am your son! I miss you, Pop, and I will continue to miss you until the day that we meet again. I love you.
Your son,
Rick

Chris: Even though I didn't have a chance to meet your father here on earth, I can't wait to meet him in Heaven! Your stories of him during our visits always warmed my heart, especially how well he conducted the orchestra. I know how proud you were of him and am confident he will be waiting with a huge smile for your arrival in the Eternal Kingdom. Until then, keep your memories close and Jesus closer. I love you and am sorry I can't be there to personally hug you. You and your family are in my prayers.

Dear Chris and Hill family,
I am saddened that your father has passed away. It has been an inspiration for me to hear about him. What has shined through for me in the stories has been his fun-loving humor and his positive outlook on life. I also particularly remember your telling me of the special joy and pride your father had when he conducted the orchestra and even when he watched the recording of that evening. I am uplifted when I think of all the meaningful times you have been able to share together.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Love, Mary

We will also remember the time he assisted at the Tri-State Irish American picnic in the egg throwing contest. His friendliness and ougoing personality made him a joy to know. Dick was the most Wonderful being I ever knew. He brought cheer to everyone he met. There was never a time spent with him that wasn't a great time. Wow! What a loss, not just for me and his family, but for anyone that never had a chance to meet him. I cherish all my memories of time spent with Dick and will hold them close to my heart. A great Friend, Father, Husband, Grandfather & Counselor. Dick did enjoy life to the fullest and leaves this earth a much greater place for having been here. I will sorely miss him. My prayers are with him, Joy and his extended family.
