Obituary of Walter Foster Quevedo

Foster Quevedo, 85, died on Tuesday Oct. 30, 2012 at Morristown Memorial Hosp. In Morristown, NJ.
He was born in New York City and had lived Brooklyn before moving to Parsippany, NJ in 1968.
Foster served in the U.S. Army during WWII. After the war he worked as a mechanical engineer working 54 years at Picatinny Arsenal in Rockaway Twp., NJ where he retired in March 2012.
He has been an active member at St. Catherine of Siena Church in Mt. Lakes, where he was also a Eucharistic Minister.
His wife Catherine Drescher Quevedo died in 1984.
He is survived by his nieces and nephew Jeanne and Richard Wetenhall of Florham Park, NJ, Denise and Jose Benavides of Kellar, TX., Claire and Craig Hosteng of Carmel, IN and John and Sara Drescher of Bettendorf, IA, as well as many great nieces and great nephews.
Funeral from the Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave. Denville, NJ www.normandean.com , on Monday Nov. 12, 2012 at 9:00 AM for a 10:00AM Mass of Christian Burial Service at St. Catherine of Siena Church in Mt. Lakes, NJ.
Friends may visit with the family on Sunday from 2 to 5 PM.
