Obituary of Stephen J. Jerger

Stephen J. Jerger passed away on March 7, 2007 at St. Clares Hospital in Dover, NJ.
He was 52 years old.
Born in Orange, he grew up in Rockaway Boro before moving to Lake Hopatcong 21 years ago.
Stephen had worked for many years in auto restoration, and was employed at Hibernia Auto Restoration in Rockaway Twp., NJ.
He was a family man first, but also enjoyed motorcycles, radio controlled planes, deer hunting, collecting guns, knives & coins. He was a member of the Top of NJ Flying Club.
Stephen was a loving and devoted husband and father, and is survived by his wife of 28 years, Wendy J. (Lecher) Jerger of Lake Hopatcong, his Daughters Amy (& Michael) Troxell of Somerset, and Melissa Jerger of Lake Hopatcong, NJ. His Mother Ellanora Lange and his brother Paul (& Roberta) Jerger and his nephew Stephen all of CO. also survive him. His sister and brother in-law Jodi & Andrew Kobylka, nephews Jason & Scott of Rockaway, his Mother & Father in-law Marcia & Volker Scherle and his Grandmother in-law Joan Cannon also survive him.
A memorial visitation will be held on Tuesday March 13, from 7-9PM with a memorial service starting at 8PM at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave Denville, NJ www.normandean.com.
