Obituary of Leland E Williams

Leland "Lee" Williams, 84, died on Fri. Nov. 2, 2012 at Kindred Hospital in Dover, NJ.
He was born in Taylor, PA, and had lived in Denville, NJ since 1950.
He had served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War.
Lee retired as a field engineer for IBM Corp. of West Orange where he had worked for 32 years.
He was active in his community with memberships in the Denville V.F. W. Post #2519, the Rock Ridge Community Club where he loved to play horseshoes and competed with the lake in Hub Lakes. He was a loyal Yankee and Giants fan, loved to ski and was involved with the Craigmeur Ski Club in Rockaway, and was an active member of Jephthah Masonic Lodge #233 in Rockaway, which has merged with Acacia Masonic Lodge # 20 F & AM in Dover.
He and his wife also loved to Line Dance to Country Music.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years Dorothy Cook Williams, as well as his five children and their spouses, David and Debbie Williams of Groton, MA, JoAnn and John Kentos of Hopatcong, NJ, Ed and MaryAnn Williams of Hackettstown, NJ, Robin and Glen Canfield of Washington, NJ and Lisa and James Reinhart of Milford, NJ.
He is also survived by his 13 loving grandchildren Jessica Williams Wall, Michael Williams, Katie Williams, Jason Kentos, Jamie Kentos, Eric Williams, Bryan Williams, Justin Canfield, Dylan Canfield, Megan Reinhart, Kayla Reinhart, Kevin Reinhart and Michael Reinhart.
Funeral services will be held on Sat. Nov. 10, 2012 at 10:30 AM at the Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave. Denville, NJ www.normandean.com.
Friends may visit with the family on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
