Daniel Monaco, died on Sunday January 28, 2007 at the House of the Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Hackettstown, he was 77.
Born in Jersey City NJ, he was a resident of Rockaway NJ for many years as well as Hackettstown NJ.
Dan served in the armed forces during the Korean War. He was employed as a welder with the Hudson Engineering Company in Jersey City for twenty years retiring in 1972.
A true outdoorsman Dan enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping.
Dan was predeceased by his wife of fifty years Estelle in June of 2006.
Daniel is survived by his children Daniel III and his wife Debra of Boston MA, Judy and her husband William Vincent of Newfoundland NJ, and Rudy Monaco of Wharton. Brother of Marion Markey and Rudy Monaco and grandfather to Jennifer, Joseph, Shannon, Tony, and Hannah.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday February 1, 2007 at 3:00pm at the Norman Dean Home For Services, 16 Righter Ave Denville NJ 07834, www.normandean.com Visitation will be held on Thursday as well from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at the funeral home.
