Obituary of Robert Patrick Hill

Robert Patrick Hill Sr., 77, died on Thursday Nov. 1, 2012 at Regency Grande Assisted Living in Dover, NJ.
He was born in Newark and lived in Kearny before moving to Dover, several years ago.
Bob served in the US Army during the Korean War. He had worked for many years as a Carpet Cutter for the Kane Carpet Co. in Kearny retiring in 1990.
His wife Catherine and his daughter Nancy Prebor died previously.
He is survived by his children Robert Jr of Woodbridge, James T. of Denville, and Kathy Kijewski of Tannersville, PA. as well as his son in-law Patrick Prebor of Rockaway. His step children Helen Pastrof of Manchester, Kathleen Byrne of Kearny and Colleen Gaynor of East Stroudsburg, PA.
He is also survived by his15 grandchildren, Cassie Hill, Chelsie Hill, Jay Leonard, Tara Leonard, Cyndi Hill, Kimberly Hill, Kelly Ann Hill, Michael Kijewski, Brian Kijewski, Ashley Prebor, Eric Prebor, Jillian Barthco, Amanda Duprey, Barry Byrne and Dylan Byrne, as well as his five great grandchildren, Emma Leonard, Weston Kijewski, Michael Barthco, David Barthco and Harry Duprey.
A Funeral service will be held on Monday Nov. 5, 2012, at 8:00 PM at the Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave. Denville, NJ www.normandean.com.
Friends may visit with the family on Monday from 2-4 and 7 to 8 PM.
