Rose Russo, 86 passed away at Compassionate Care Hospice at Saint Clares Hospital, Dover, NJ on Thursday Jan. 4th, 2007.
Mrs. Russo was born and raised in Jersey City, NJ; she was a resident of Rockaway Township for 20 years, moving to West Palm Beach Florida for 20 years and in 2005 returned to Rockaway Township. Mrs. Russo was employed at Western Electric in Kearny, NJ as a manager for 20 years and at A T & T in Basking Ridge, NJ as a clerical worker for 12 years retiring in 1986. Mrs. Russo enjoyed her many trips to Atlantic City and her slot machines.
Mrs. Russos husband predeceased her in 1989 the late James Russo. Her two sons James J. Russo and his wife Geri of Rockaway Township and Robert Russo of Long Valley, and four grandchildren and four great grandchildren and her brother Joseph Lauria of California survive her.
The funeral will be conducted from Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Avenue, Denville, NJ, www.normandean.com on Monday Jan. 8th at 8:45am for a 10:00am Liturgy of Christian service at St. Cecilias Church Rockaway, NJ. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery North Arlington, NJ. Relatives and friends are invited to visit on Sunday Jan.7th from 2-4 & 7-9pm. In lieu of flowers donations to American Cancer Society or Compassionate Care Hospice at Saint Clares Hospital would be appreciated envelopes at funeral home.
