We know this is a little late but, for some reason, the page for this section refused to open for us the last couple of times we were on this site. Maybe a technical glitch with the new internet explorer 7 ... who knows???
So please forgive us.
But anyway ... There has been many wonderful things said about Marta ... & "we" know ... they're all true. Over the years I have come to know Marta as being one of the true "superwoman" of the world ... Her inteligence, business savy, determination, & unfailing positive "can do" attitude, was also coupled with a gracious, warm & giving heart of gold. A combination rarely seen in this fast paced world of high stress, where people are all too often too busy to even say hello to one another. She always had a heart felt smile & a good word for every face that turned her way. Both my wife & I admired her a great deal. (Anabel is definatly going to miss her "buddy" ... me too!) Greg, Don, Tee ... your mom was not only a wonderful role model for you guys ... she, as well as your dad were a role model for all of us that had come to know them. Our memories for Marta are good ones ... always follwed by a reminicent smile. Eventhough we're not all totally related directly ... to us, you guys are & always have been, family , & we love you all (especially you kids!) ... What made Marta such a wonderful person was her warmth and sincerety. When speaking to us, she would lean her body toward the person, as if afraid to miss a word. Her hand often found its way to our arm or elbow, urging us to continue. Her infectous smile and hearty laughter will long be remembered by us. We consider ourselves lucky to have known her and send the family our deepest sympathies and kindest thoughts.

Dear Family:
As I write this with tears in my eyes I have only the fondest memories of Mom. Yes, I always thought of her as my Mom also. I hope you don't mind that I shared that precious gift with you. Marta will always be remembered in my heart and I will always remember her in my thoughts and prayers. She was a model for me as I started in this business and has taught me so much over the years of working with her. Be strong, and continue on with her legacy. I will never forget watching your Dad and her dance in Mexico one time as he sang to her in Spanish and their eyes never wandered from each other. Be at peace that she is now with her beloved Mazz.
