NICHOLAS THOMAS SANZERO, died on Tuesday November 21, 2006 at St Clares Hospital in Denville he was 82.
Born and Raised in the coal mining town of Scranton PA Nicholas lived and worked through the Great Depression.
Nicholas was a World War II veteran who served in the Army Air Corps during the North African and European Campaigns.
As a Production Foreman of the Newark Star Ledger for three decades Nick helped build the newspaper into what it is today.
Nick and his family spent most of their lives in Lodi NJ where he was revered as a warm friend across the town. Truly a life worth remembering and celebrating, Nick was a kind man who would strike up a conversation with anyone.
Nick was a devoted and loving husband; father, brother, uncle, grandfather, great-grandfather, and a wonderful friend to all who knew him.
Surviving nick is his loving wife of sixty-two years Santa (nee Aletta) his beloved daughters Lucille and Anna Marie, his loving sister Anna, his Beloved grandchildren Michele, Steven, Grant, Eric, and Peter. His Great-Grandchildren Meghan , Abigail, Alexandra and Sofia.
A funeral Mass will be held on Friday November 24, 2006 at Twelve-noon at St. Cecilias Church in Rockaway. Internment will follow at Locust Hill Cemetery in Dover. Visiting will be from 10:00am until 11:30am at the Norman Dean Home For Services 16 Righter Ave Denville NJ 07834, www.normandean.com
