Patricia Pat DeSciscio, 66 Beloved to all who knew her.
Patricia A. DeSciscio of Rockaway Township, NJ died Friday Sept. 29, 2006 at the St. Barnabas Medical Center, Livingston, NJ.
Born in Jersey City, NJ to Michael and Mary DeSciscio. She is survived by her beloved partner of 45 years, Joan Massa, her two sScotties "Peanuts" and "Libby". She was the youngest of six girls; Anne LaRocca of Hibernia, Dorothy Newby and Madeline Gerrity of Jersey City, Virginia (Jean) DeVito of North Fort Myers, Fl., and the late Rosemary McAleer. Many nieces and nephews and grandnieces and grand nephews also survive her.
She worked in the medical profession as an X-Ray Technician in Martland Medical Center, Newark, NJ the St. Vincents Hospital, NYC, Urgent Care Centers in Jersey City and Sussex, and finally The Stone Center, Newark, NJ from which she retired in 2004. She enjoyed life whether at work or play. For her, people - time with family, friends, and co-workers made life worthwhile. She was the best friend you could have.
The funeral will be conducted from the Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Avenue, Denville, NJ www.normandean.com on Thursday Oct. 5th at 8:45am for a 10:00am Liturgy of Christian Burial service at St. Cecilias Church Rockaway, NJ. Relatives and friends will be received on Wednesday Oct. 4th from 2-4 & 7-9pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Northern New Jersey Chapter, 116 Euclid Avenue, Westfield, NJ 07090 would be appreciated.
