Seth,
I’m 26 years old now. I grew up without an older brother but being an older brother myself. It’s been some time since I’ve thought about you. When I think about you the memories just come and go. They just pass through like a fall breeze.
Once I heard that you passed it was hard to come to terms. In 2006 you were 12 I must have been only 10 at the time. It was hard for me to process a tragedy like this. I just continued life as it was, without you.
Now as an adult, I am taking the time to feel and heal. Seth I apologize I almost forgot your name but never your face. I remember being excited for you to come on the bus. You always say with me. You let me listen to your music. Your love for music is my love for music. In a way Seth, you weee my older brother. That hour bus ride together was something I looked forward to every morning. I loved you like a brother, you made me feel like I was special.
Thank you Seth for your light. Thank you for love. I’ve finally been able to feel a little bit. For the first time in many years, almost 18 years later, I can cry. I know you are with our Heavenly Father. I just pray your brother Jeremiah finds his peace if he hasn’t already. I can’t imagine the guilt he felt. My heart goes out to him and my prayers to. Jeremiah you have no reason to feel guilty. Gods plan doesn’t makes sense in the moment and maybe it never will. Just know you have an Angel that loves you and watched over you.
Seth thank you for your love thank you for your kindness. I hope to see you again.
