Dorothy A. Dawes (Knapp), 95, passed away at Troy Hills Center in Parsippany, NJ on February 12, 2015.
She taught ceramic lessons in her home at Indian Lakes, where she was also a member of the Indian Lake Community Club for many years.
Born in Queens, NY she had lived in Denville, NJ for many years before moving to Parsippany 10 years ago.
Dorothy was predeceased by her husband Joseph A. Dawes in 1989.
She is survived by her sons David of Denville, Ralph of Barnegat and Robert of Colorado, as well as her 7 grandchildren Leann, Kate, David Peter, Matthew, Bryan, Christopher and Brandon of Colorado, and 2 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 19th, from 10 – 11 a.m. at Norman Dean Home for Services, 16 Righter Ave, Denville, NJ 07834, with a Funeral Service to follow at 11 a.m. at the Funeral Home.
