Porfiria Orence Bautista passed away on October 14,2014 at age 77.
Born August 24,1937 in Fort Stotsenberg (later renamed Clark Air Force Base) Angeles City, Pampanga, Philippines to Juan Bugarin Orence and Feliza Adoracion Jazmin-Orence. She is the third of nine children.
She graduated from the Philippine Womens University with a Bachelor in Nutrition and later earned a Bachelor in Elementary Education. She was a primary school teacher for twenty years in her hometown Mangatarem, Pangasinan in the Philippines.
On June 27, 1959 she married Dr. Artemio Garlitos Bautista. They have six children-three sons and three daughters, fourteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She loved spending time with the grandchildren and the great-grandchildren.
Porfiria migrated to the United States in 1986 and resided in Denville since 1998.
She will be missed by her 101-year old mother Feliza; husband Artemio; children Chona and Jerby Carino, Carminda Aldeza(widow of Peter), Roland and Anamie Bautista, Jocelyn and Gregory Accetta, Roderick and Armie Bautista, Jayson and Marivic Bautista; granchildren Christine and Jeff Krogmann, Jacklyn and Steven Chang, Brian Aldeza, Roi Vincent Bautista, Cathryn Carino, Justin Carino, Curt Carino, Rick Bautista, Patricia Bautista, Nick Accetta, Rhiannon Accetta, MJ Bautista, Jeff Bautista and Aaron Bautista; great grandchildren Penelope Krogmann and Tydus Chang; siblings Eleonor Sebastian, Angelita Banaag, Lilia Orence, Milagros and Renato Mariano, Cleofe Sison-Orence (widow of Arturo), Consuelo and Roberto Viray, Silverio Limtian (widower of Adoracion); numerous nephews, nieces and family members.
Visiting hours will be held on Sunday October 19th from 1 PM to 5 PM at the Norman Dean Home For Services,16 Righter Avenue Denville, NJ. Catholic services will be celebrated at Saint Mary's Church in Denville, NJ on Monday October 20th at 10 am followed by entombment at the Gate of Heaven Mausoleum in East Hanover,NJ.
