George Rynkiewicz passed away at St. Clare's Hospital in Denville, NJ on October 13, 2014.
He was 85 years old.
Born in Syracuse, NY he had lived in Denville, NJ for the last 47 years.
George served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and then graduated from Clarkson College in Potsdam, NY. He worked as a civil engineer for Allied Chemical Corporation and for the Township of Parsippany, NJ before retiring in 2000. He was also a CCD teacher for 47 years and a Eucharistic minister at St. Mary's Chuch.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years Marjorie Jean (Honors) Rynkiewicz of Denville, NJ. George is also survived by his children Kathryn (& Michael) Butchko of Morris Plains, Mary (& Steven) Looney of Suwanee, GA, Patricia (& Rory) Rorrer of Denville, Karen (& Lawrence) Deignan of Milford, PA and Thomas (& Elizabeth) Rynkiewicz of Denville, NJ as well as 15 grandchildren and his brother John (& Diana) Rynkiewicz of Elbridge, NY.
Funeral services will begin at 9am on Friday October 17, 2014, at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave Denville, NJ 07834 and then going to St. Mary's Church in Denville for a 10am Liturgy of Christian Burial Mass. Entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover, NJ. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9PM.
