Christopher DeFilippis, 49, passed away suddenly on Friday, August 22nd. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, August 26th at 10 am at St. Cecilia's RC Church, Rockaway. Visiting hours will be held on Monday, August 25th from 4-8 pm at the Norman Dean Home For Services, 16 Righter Avenue, Denville. In lieu of flowers, donations towards his daughters' education may be sent to Alyssa and Jenna DeFilippis, c/o Norman Dean Home For Services, 16 Righter Avenue, Denville, NJ 07834.
Born and raised in Hasbrouck Heights, Chris has lived in Rockaway for the past 12 years. He has worked at ADP for 17 years, most recently as a retention specialist. He was a big Steelers fan and enjoyed body building. Above all; he loved spending time with his family.
Surviving are his loving wife Michele of 18 years; daughters Alyssa and Jenna, whom he loved more than anything in this world; his father Henry DeFilippis; mother Beverly Cronin; sister Stefanie Cronin; in laws Charles and Cathleen Scuilla; brother and sister in law Michael and Debbie Scuilla ; his loyal canine Lola; and many more loving relatives and friends.
