Eleanor Fearon, 91, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 15th with her family by her side. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Tuesday, August 19th at 10 am at St. Simon the Apostle Church, 1010 Green Pond Rd, Green Pond, NJ. Interment to follow at St. Thomas the Apostle Cemetery, Oak Ridge, NJ. Visiting hours will be held on Monday, August 18th from 6-8 pm at the Norman Dean Home For Services, 16 Righter Ave, Denville. In lieu of flowers, donations in her name may be made to the Green Pond First Aid Squad, 1 Dump Rd. New Foundland, NJ 07435. To light a candle, please go to www.normandean.com Born in Jersey City to the late Charles and Martha D'moswki, Eleanor was one of four children. After her schooling, she met and later married Bernard Fearon. Bernard built their home in Green Pond, where they would raise their family and live for almost 60 years. Eleanor loved taking care of her family and her home. She also enjoyed baking and cooking, as well as painting, crocheting and needle point. Predeceased by her husband Bernard and her brother Walter; she is survived by her children Dr. Thomas (Linda, MD), Lorraine Henry, Bernard Jr. (Diane), Kenneth (Colette) and Kevin (Lori); her eight adoring grandchildren; three great grandchildren; bothers Louis (Marie) D'mowski and Edward D'mowski; and many more loving relatives and friends.
