Joan was a frequent customer at the Estee Lauder counter of Macy's Rockaway store. She was such a lovely, friendly lady who delighted in using the very best skincare and makeup products. We always looked forward to chatting with her. It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we have lost such a special friend. God bless you Joan, you will be missed by me and my team at Estee Lauder.

I was her personal private secretary from 1999 when she was sworn in until 2010 when I retired, and I kept in touch even after she and I retired. I find it absolutley disgusting,that the FAMILY(blood relatives) didnt even get a chance to give their beloved mother and grandmother a proper good bye.Why are people so cruel? It just keeps on getting worse.We are all human and ALL have feelings! Shame on whoevers choice that was.
