Obituary of John Van Winkle

John Van Winkle passed away at Merry Heart Nursing Home in Succasunna, NJ on August 9, 2014, at the age of 91.
Born in Nutley, NJ he had lived in the Indian Lake section of Denville, NJ for the last 60 years.
John served in the U.S. Army during both WWII and Korea. He worked for many years in the road department for the County of Morris before retiring.
He was predeceased by his wife Antonie (Patzer) Van Winkle in 2007.
John is survived by his daughter Margaret Campbell of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, his grandchildren James and Cindy Scales of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, his great grandchildren Hayley, Riley, Aidan and Dylan as well as his sister Margrat McDougle of Parsippany, NJ.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday August 14, 2014 at 10AM at Denville Cemetery.
Friends may visit on Wednesday from 5-7pm at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave Denville, NJ 07834.
