Carol A. Purus, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 13th. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, July 18th at 10 am at St. Cecelia's Church, Rockaway. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover, NJ. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, July 17th from 3-5 and 7-9 pm at the Norman Dean Home For Services, 16 Righter Avenue, Denville. Carol was born in NY and has been a longtime resident of Rockaway Borough, NJ. She worked as a fashion designer for many years. A longtime parishioner of St. Cecelia's Church, Carol was a devout Catholic. Above all, she loved spending time with her family.
Predeceased by her husband Richard; she is survived by her loving daughter Rachel Fisher (Todd); her grandchildren Andrew and Molly Fisher; her dear sister Brenda Barkhausen (Craig); and many more loving relatives and friends.
