Fannie (and Michael!) were both "adopted" members of our family. She was particularly close to my mother, Helena Blankenship. She'll be missed by all of us! Such a lovely and interesting person to have known in my life. All always treasure the memories I have of her.

She lit our lives in so many ways: the blaze of her fierce integrity, the sparkle of her wit, the glow of her love. We were blessed by her friendship.

What a precious friend and "second mom" you have been for so many years, dearest Fannie! You live now in my heart & memory & the stories we share in our family (Bill & Zachary). For other friends - Please be in touch with me at sb4spirit@aol.com so that we can share memories and so that I can send you special poetry, etc. - Sue

Fannie, we have so many fond memories of you and Michael. You both along with Sister Mary Urban were the local grandparents to our children growing up in Denville. I remember last year talking to you on the phone and you telling me you "were ready to give it up" and go see Michael in Heaven. I told you were coming to visit you for you 97th birthday and you said "oh, good, that gives me a reason to live". We enjoyed your birthday dinner with you at your favorite restaurant and I told you that your were a "true inspiration to me". Love you always..... Many happy memories. I know you and Michael will be looking down from Heaven above! xoxo Maggie and Hubert
