Michael Maksimik, 62, passed away at Overlook Hospital, on Sunday, July 6th. A Prayer Service will be held on Friday, July 11th at 11 am at the Norman Dean Home For Services, 16 Righter Avenue, Denville. Friends may visit one hour prior to the service. Michael was a lifetime Union resident. He owned a video store in Cranford years ago, which he very much enjoyed. He was the dear uncle to six nieces and nephews and beloved brother to Michele Lupinski (Joseph) and Mark Maksimik (Adele). In lieu of flowers donations can be made in his memory to: The Red Cross or the The Blood Center of New Jersey.
