Frieda M. Schroeder, 87, died on Tuesday June 24, 2014 at her home in Rockaway Twp.
She was born to Henry W. and Frieda Schiller Bube and raised in the Bronx and lived in City Island NY before moving to Rockaway in 1987.
Frieda worked at several businesses throughout her life as a secretary along with taking care of her husband and three daughters. She had been active with the NJ Foundation for the Blind in Denville.
Her husband Paul died in 2009 and her grandson Nicholas Sarti died previously.
She is survived by her daughters and their husbands. Madelon and Joe Sarti, Maria and Gary Pedersen all of Rockaway Twp. and Nora and Kenny Wladimirsky of Boca Raton, Fl. as well as her grandchildren Elisha and Scott Lickstein, Andrea and Scott Cordis, Alanna Sarti, Eric and Katie Pedersen, Kurt Pedersen, Sonja Pedersen and Alex Wladimirsky and her great grandchildren Audrey Cordis and Aidan Cordis.
Funeral from the Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave. Denville, NJ on Friday June 27, 2014 at 9:00 AM for an 11:30 AM Liturgy of Christian Burial Mass at St. Simon the Apostle Church 1010 Green Pond Rd. in Rockaway, NJ 07866.
Friends may visit with the family prior to leaving for the Mass, and donations are being accepted to the Church in her memory.
