I remember Wayne as my Troop 4 Boy Scoutmaster in West Caldwell in the very early 1960s. He was very capable, well respected, and very well liked by myself and all the other Scouts. He was a fantastic leader and we were all crushed when he moved to Denville and resigned as our Scoutmaster. I shall always remember him fondly and for his contributions in helping me develop both as a Scout and as a young man. My sincere condolences to his family upon their loss!

I'm so sorry I couldn't be in attendance yesterday at the funeral, and I wish the entire Wagoner/Leatherberry family as much peace and comfort as God can bestow on you right now. I know how much he was loved, and how kind he was, and my heart aches for your pain. I love you all, and wish I could give you all big hugs. My deepest sympathies :(. Remember him in joy, and know he is with God.

My sympathy to the family. I will always remember Mr and Mrs. Leatherberry walking on West Shore Road. We talked and Mrs. Leatherberry would rest a bit by my garage. What a wonderful couple. I could see how he cherished her. I will miss them walking. God bless all of the family.

How sad I am to hear of Mr. Leatherberry's death. He was our Pat Boone of Warren Trail. I have so many FOND memories of playing in the Leatherberry's backyard and Mr. Leatherberry's wonderful smile. I am sure he will be missed. Heaven will be lucky to have him. Barb
