Thank you all for writing such nice things about my mother. They mean so much to my family. I urge you all, for those of you who are still fortunate enough to have your mother in your life..... Pick her a flower and hand it to her in person. Thank her for something nice she did for you recently or remind her of a funny memory you have together. Plant a massive kiss on both of her cheeks, give her a long hug and tell her that you love her. Spend some time with her. Get her out of the house and go for a walk or coffee. Just be with her. She won't care when or where. Always honor your mother and cherish every moment you have with her. It doesn't need to be a holiday or a special occasion. Surprise her!

So deeply sorry for your loss.
I will never forget her method of delivering snacks down to all the neighborhood urchins. She would lower a basket of treats from her upstairs kitchen window to the gang out in her yard.
Great lady, may she rest in peace.

I still don't know what pyles are but she always made sure we didn't get them. Thank you Mrs. C for looking out for us... watching from the window as we walked the path home in the dark, for making us pierogies, for always calling me honey. We were lucky to have you. Strength and love to Sue, Richard and Steven.

A few days before my mother passed away, my family and I went to the Millside Café in Lafayette, NJ. We were fairly early for lunch and there was about one or two customers in there at the time. There were a ton of open tables. I proceeded to pull out a chair at a table near the front of the café but then decided I wanted to sit toward the back by one of the windows. I almost sat down at the table under the first window, but for some reason I decided to sit at the table under the second window. So we finally sat down. I put my phone down, took a deep breath and gazed out the window. It was a cool spring day with rain and scattered sunshine. I saw an old woman walking out of the antique store across the street. I immediately began to miss my mom. Then I looked down at the top of the table where I would put my plate and there it was as clear as day. Someone had carved the word “FRAN” into the table top. I love you too mom……
