Mrs. Biville was my librarian and she was so sweet and so humorous just so welcoming. When ever I had seen her face it always made my day and now that she’s gone I still remember her. She gave me the nickname Lele which now all of my classmates call me now. She was an amazing human.

It is truly difficult to put into words the sense of sadness and sorrow that news of Krysia’s passing has left in me. My deepest sympathies and condolences go out to my wonderful cousins; Jean, Marianna, and Gabrielle; to have an older sister pass on in the prime of her life and who still had so much more to give to everyone is heart breaking, and I am in awe of the strength of character that you were able to draw upon during our final farewells to Krysia. Jan and Maggie; I so feel the depth of your loss and hope that the wonderful memories that you have of all the years with Krysia will, over time help mend the sorrow that we all share with you today. Bruno, Jean Paul and especially Bonnie; I cannot comprehend the sense of loss and sorrow that you have had to contend with, and yet life goes on, and Bonnie, the eulogy that you gave at the funeral was such a loving tribute to your mother, that to this day, when your words echo in my mind, they bring feelings of sadness tinged with a beautiful celebration of ones life. I do not know how you were able to speak so well at such a time of sadness, but your inner strength was never more evident than at that time. There is no doubt in my mind that many of Krysia’s most cherished qualities are today alive and well in her most special daughter.
Krysia was my oldest cousin, only a year younger than me, and although we did not meet as often as we perhaps should have, those few meetings and the many stories that others had shared about Krysia left a deep impression. Who could doubt Krysia’s active and vibrant embrace of life, the positive and selfless spirit with which she tackled each new challenge and the manner in which she always found a way forward. When our family visited with the Norton family in the old mountain house in New Hampshire, I recall the energy with which Krysia was blessed, and how she liked to try new things. I still remember plucking crab apples from some cut down trees on the other side of the road and I believe it was Krysia who first suggested that they could be put to use on passing vehicles, after which we had to quickly duck behind the branches. When we were in Homldel, I remember Krysia introducing me to the rock group Queen, which to this day I am a fan of, thanks to my oldest cousin’s excellent taste in music. While the quantity of memories is not vast, it is more than compensated for by their quality and richness.
I will miss Krysia, but shall always cherish the memories that she made possible and the unyielding spirit with which she lived her life. In time, I hope that sorrow of her passing will be replaced with the celebration of life in all its richness that Krysia brought to all of us. Rest in peace my dearest cousin.

Krysia was my oldest American first cousin, one year older than me. My first memory of her is at the mountain house in New Hampshire in 1970, followed by a visit to Holmdel a few years later. I came to realize what a wonderful, genuine person she was when she visited us in Toronto when we were young adults. The conversation flowed easily, she was spontaneous and fun, caring and warm. There were numerous encounters over the years that followed, typically to celebrate family milestones. Her sparkle immediately pulled us together, bringing us right back to where we last left off. Her love of family was unmistakable, as was her “joie de vivre”. I will cherish the memories I have of her, saddened that there won’t be more. I send my heartfelt condolences to all of my American family. I am richer for having known her. Kasia Mahut

My condolences, I was truly heartbroken to here of her passing. I volunteered many years in the library while my kids attended Lincoln School and we always spoke of family. Mrs. B loved sharing stories about her family and the kids adored her. You will be sorely missed Mrs. B. We are thinking of your family at this very difficult time.

You have gone away much too soon, it’s not right, it’s not fair!! It’s not fair especially for you, but for your family and all of the friends that cared so much for you too.
That sense of humor and laughter made its’ mark and will stay with me for many years to come.
Dear Krysia, you will be sorely missed. Please be happy wherever you are.
Much love,

Our sincerest condolences to the family. Mrs. B. was very loved by both of our children and instilled a love of reading in their early years at Lincoln. My daughter fondly recalls that she was the only teacher who properly pronounced her given name, Genevieve, with a French accent. So truly sorry for your loss.

Krysia was a remarkable woman who I admired very much. As an educator myself who had the pleasure of having both of her children in my programs for school or summer camp, I had the honor of working with her and always respected her thoughtful approach to advocating for exactly what her children needed at any given moment. She was kind, funny and encouraging and could move mountains without being adversarial. This is a gift that few people possess and Krysia always took the high road. I admired her for this and am sure her children and grandchildren will carry forward these beautiful traits for many years to come. My love and prayers go out to JP, Bonnie, and Krysia’s entire family. Condolences, Monica Osgood https://youtu.be/VJ1OnnkwjrM

I will never forget how you wanted to dance with me at my wedding to Ed Sheeran. It was your dream and it was my honor to hold you and make it come true. It all makes sense to me now why my life moved so fast. You got to see me get married and I got to make you a grandmother. I'll never forget the tears in your eyes from all the happiness I brought you on this day. I wish I could dance with you over and over again.

JP and Bonnie, I met your mom many years ago as a fierce champion of both of you - her most precious loves. In all the years that passed I noted her constant support of your goals and her pride at your accomplishments. I know her spirit was powerful and that it will remain with you and her granddaughter throughout your lives. I know your hearts are shattered and that your path ahead seems lonely without her but she lives in all of you and your futures will be a tribute to the love and devotion she offered unceasingly. I am so sorry she went too soon.

My mother was an angel that walked this Earth, she took care of everything for me -- along with being the best mother, teacher, and friend she possibly could be. Every single memory that I have includes my mom. Every memory I have without her, also includes her because she would never miss a beat about what was going on in my life. She is the most important person to me. She drove me to every football game, every competition, for band or for cheerleading, she was at EVERY SINGLE EVENT and NEVER MISSED ONE for my brother or for me. She IS my childhood. She was the the most observant, beautiful, and loving person alive. She always knew how to make holidays magic and took notice of what every single person took interest in, so she could always give the perfect gift. She is the one who showed me that books can actually turn to life........ I love you mom, my best friend, my angel, my reason for living........
